Carson City first baseman Vahe Kordonskaya was a significant contributor in his team's 8-4 triumph over the DeKalb Cornhuskers. He was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Carson City. Miguel Gonzáles was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
