Suzuki goes 3-for-4, Rats Move to 15-9
Rock River left fielder Tatsuhito Suzuki was instrumental in his team's 5-4 win over the Wichita Wolverines. Suzuki, who leads the RHL with a .430 batting average, went 3-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rats. Colby Virella picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-0. He struck out 8 in 7.1 innings. Rock River, now 15-9, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Early in the game, Suzuki had a run-scoring single for Rock River. It was his 43rd hit of the season and put the Rats on top, 1-0.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Suzuki told reporters after the game.
