Hackers Prevail, 6-5, Over Marysville
|
The Silicon Valley Hackers topped the Marysville Monarchs, 6-5, in Cory Lidle League action at Mitts Fieldhouse. The player of the game was Silicon Valley pitcher Tim Carson. The Monarchs fall to 11-12 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Keith Hawley. For the game, Hawley was 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season gave Silicon Valley a 2-1 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Carson.
