Ferdig drives in 3 runs, Red Bulls Move to 14-9
A 3-RBI performance from Jarred Ferdig, who is tied for 6th in the CLL with a .616 slugging percentage, helped the Riverside Red Bulls beat the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 7-2. The win was credited to Ed Sawyers in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Justin Taylor took the loss. Riverside, now 14-9, has gotten their season off to a good start.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when first baseman Li-xue Liu drew a walk. The Red Bulls went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Liu.
