Harris Helps Cornhuskers Run Win Streak to 3
Cornhuskers left fielder Neal Harris put his stamp on his team's 7-0 win over the Carson City Mustang. Harris went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for DeKalb in the contest. Graeme Hughes, the winner, improved to 3-0. He held the Mustang to no earned runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. José López closed the door for DeKalb, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Harris had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Cornhuskers went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Harris told reporters after the game.

The Mustang fall to 10-13 and continue their wobbly start to the 2034 season.
