The Vancouver Pioneers topped the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-1, in Thurman Munson League action at Field de Los Layendas. The player of the game was Vancouver pitcher and Kochi, Japan native Kenko Samurakami. Samurakami, the winner, moves to 5-1. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks.
