Beetlecats Walk Off with Win
Edwin Nunez had a good game, but he could not keep the Youngstown Tune-Ups from falling, 4-3, to the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats at Bloomfield Road. The Youngstown first baseman went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once in the loss. The win was credited to Mike Salter in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Jackson Thompson took the loss. The Tune-Ups fall to 9-12 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2034 season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Buzzard's Bay designated hitter Hyung-gwang Park, facing Jackson Thompson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Beetlecats the 4-3 win.

"Put a star next to this win," Park said.
