|
Pacifica pitcher Dario Reyes did his part in helping his team beat the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Reyes went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 1 hit, walked 6, and struck out 4. His record improves to 4-0. Pacifica, now 14-8, has played well in the early going.
Yasusaburo Sato drew 1 walk for Pacifica. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Ron Callaghan. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Reyes.
