Rubber City catcher Lúcio Nájera had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the San Diego Hops, 5-2. The Rhinos saw their win-loss record go to 16-20. At the same time, the Hops fell to 12-25.

Nájera had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Rhinos went on to win.
