Red Bulls Lose, 6-3, at Bear Cave
|
Ruidoso played host to Riverside at the friendly confines of Bear Cave.
Ruidoso Osos starter Terry Outlaw was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Riverside Red Bulls, 6-3. Outlaw picked up the win for Ruidoso, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. Oliver Pitcher nailed down his 4th save.
The Osos got a big at-bat from right fielder Vicente Cetulio. For the game, Cetulio was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Ruidoso a 2-0 lead.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Ruidoso manager John Perry.
With the loss, Riverside is 10-8.
