Sandy Springs and Topeka duked it out at The Field at Richmond and the Spartans came out victorious.

With third baseman Todd Poliskin leading the charge, the Sandy Springs Spartans defeated the Topeka Predators, 6-3, at The Field at Richmond. Poliskin went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Predators drop to 9-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2034 season.

With Sandy Springs leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Poliskin hit a fastball from Miguel Hinojosa for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Spartans ahead, 5-0.
