Though the conditions were not ideal, the Long Island Ducks and Madison Beehive came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
Long Island Ducks starter Yasukazu Kouda was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Madison Beehive, 4-3. The Beehive fall to 6-10 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2034 season.
Jorge Guerrero aided the Long Island cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman went 2-2 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Guerrero, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
