With catcher John Bloom leading the charge, the Frisco Rams defeated the Biloxi Bullets, 5-3, at The Sand Dune. Bloom, who is tied for 9th in the CLL in doubles with 5, went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Bullets fall to 6-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2034 season.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Oliver Mullinger came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Biloxi pitcher Paolo Jens, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Frisco on top, 4-3.

"The beers will taste better tonight after this win," said the ever-candid Bloom.
