The Cincinnati Snaps got a strong performance from pitcher Danny Reliford, who stymied the Rock River offense en route to a 3-1 win at The Rat Hole. Reliford went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-1. Bryan Blashill was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save.

Maurice Poindexter had a big 2-run single for the Snaps in the top of the third inning. With Cincinnati trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Pat Beckett and stroked the single to center. It was his 10th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Snaps ahead, 2-1.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Poindexter said after the game.

The win leaves Cincinnati with a record of 9-7.
