Madison and Long Island duked it out at Long Island Stadium and the Beehive came out victorious.

The Madison Beehive topped the Long Island Ducks by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Aaron Richters. Richters went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Beehive on the day. Gilberto Vega got the win, improving to 3-1. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3.

Madison grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Richters hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Beehive out in front, 6-3.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Richters.

The Ducks fall to 7-9 and continue their lackluster start to the 2034 season.
