Wolverines Walk Off with Win
Wichita starter Bobby Lloyd pitched effectively against the Spokane Bulldogs at Howling Park. The left-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. The Bulldogs fall to 6-11 and continue their lackluster start to the 2034 season.

The Wolverines got a big at-bat from left fielder Bob Wright. For the game, Wright was 2 for 6 with a double. In the bottom of the 14th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Wichita a 2-1 lead.

"Bobby did a tremendous job," said Wichita manager Clement Snow.
