Hairston Stars for Bullets in 12-9 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Biloxi-Buzzard's Bay contest at Bloomfield Road.

Ashton Hairston batted in 4 runs to lead Biloxi to a win over Buzzard's Bay. The final score was 12-9. Hairston chipped in with 2 singles and 1 home run. Biloxi reliever Lynn Clark picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Chris Marks absorbed the loss. The save went to Doug Durham, his 3rd this season.

Hairston had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Chris Marks, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Bullets a 9-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Hairston.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Hairston told the Biloxi Citizen. "It's as simple as that."

Biloxi has a mark of 6-8 after the win.
