Morales Slugs Storm Troopers to 6-3 Win
|
The San Antonio Storm Troopers downed the Cincinnati Snaps, 6-3, at The Studio. Ricardo Morales led the way, going 2-for-2 for San Antonio. Pablo Sánchez earned the win to go to 1-1. He allowed no earned runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. At 9-5, the Storm Troopers have played well so far.
Morales had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 2-2 screwball from Octávio Pérez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Storm Troopers a 3-1 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Morales.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said San Antonio manager Adrián Carne.
