Predators Get Road Win, 8-1
The Topeka Predators beat the Carson City Mustang, 8-1, at Cowboys Stadium. Topeka first baseman Carlos Carranza earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Topeka reliever Jorge Arellano picked up the win to move to 2-0. Kaong Foong suffered the loss. César Quintana closed the game out for Topeka, earning his 1st save.

Carranza had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Predators went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Carranza said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Mustang fall to 7-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
