The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats beat the Biloxi Bullets, 6-5, at Bloomfield Road. Buzzard's Bay center fielder Kanzaburo Takahashi earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with 3 singles. Mike Salter closed the game out for Buzzard's Bay, earning his 4th save. The Bullets fall to 5-8 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

Takahashi had a game-changing single in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Le-song Kao, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Beetlecats a 6-5 lead. It was the 9th hit of the year for Takahashi.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Takahashi said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
