Topeka third baseman Josh Tatham was instrumental in his team's 6-3 win over the Carson City Mustang. Tatham went 2-2 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Predators. The Mustang fall to 7-7 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

Tatham had a game-changing single in the top of the seventh. On a full count changeup from Kevin Murphy, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Predators a 4-3 lead. It was the 6th hit of the year for Tatham.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Tatham told a Topeka Chronicle reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
