The Boise Hawks and Silicon Valley Hackers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Basque Block Field.

The Silicon Valley Hackers bested the Boise Hawks by a score of 8-4, with catcher Akitoshi Tomita getting the main credit. On the day, Tomita went 1 for 2 with a double and 3 walks. He scored 3 runs for the Hackers. The Hawks fall to 6-7 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

The Hackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Gerben van der Molen. For the game, van der Molen was 1-5. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 5th hit of the season gave Silicon Valley a 4-2 lead.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," van der Molen told the Silicon Valley Citizen.
