Osos Come Back Late, Nip Bullets
The Ruidoso Osos defeated the Biloxi Bullets, 3-2, in Cory Lidle League action at Bear Cave, with Ruidoso pitcher Eduardo Muniz named player of the game. Oliver Pitcher earned save number 2. The Bullets fall to 5-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.

The Osos got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Jim Bennett. For the game, Bennett went 1 for 1 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Ruidoso a 3-2 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Muniz said after the game.
