Black Bears Come Back Late to Clip Rats
The Fraser Valley Black Bears bested the Rock River Rats by a score of 7-6, with shortstop Emanuel Torres getting the main credit. On the day, Torres was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Black Bears. The Black Bears keep rolling, raising their record to 8-4.

The Black Bears were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Jesús Ramos turned a full count cutter from Steve Cherry into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Fraser Valley a thrilling 7-6 win.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Ramos told the Fraser Valley Daily News.
