The Mile High Mustangs defeated the Quebec Armada, 7-5, at Lucky 7 Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Mile High was shortstop Gerard Wych. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Mile High reliever Doyle Sullivan was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Eduardo Marino. Mile High, at 17-18, sits in 5th place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division.

Wych had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-1 curveball from Eduardo Marino, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Mustangs a 7-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Wych.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Wych said.
