Monarchs Walk Off with Win
Marysville pitcher Sylvester Norwood did his part in helping his team beat the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Marysville reliever Curt Woods picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Mike Salter absorbed the loss. Marysville goes to 7-4 with the win.

The Monarchs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jose Rivera. For the game, Rivera was 2 for 5 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the 12th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Marysville a 3-2 lead.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Colin St. John, the Marysville skipper.
