Beetlecats Roll to 9-2 Win Over Monarchs
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Getting an impressive start from Cesar Garcia, Buzzard's Bay beat Marysville by the score of 9-2. Takeo Takano locked down his 1st save.
The Beetlecats got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jeff Klein. For the game, Klein was 2-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 5th hit of the season gave Buzzard's Bay a 2-0 lead.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Buzzard's Bay skipper Enrique Ramírez.
The win gives the Beetlecats a record of 5-5.
