Magyver McKenzie Goes Distance in Win
Wichita played host to San Antonio at the friendly confines of Howling Park.

Getting an impressive start from Magyver McKenzie, Wichita beat San Antonio by the score of 6-2. The defending champion Wolverines have struggled a bit to find their groove this season, but improve to 5-6 with the win.

The Wolverines liked what they saw from McKenzie. The 20-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Storm Troopers to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 9 innings, and striking out 10.

"I liked his command," said Wichita manager Clement Snow. "Magyver was throwing strikes."
