The Madison Beehive picked up a win at The Clone Army, knocking off the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 5-2. On the mound for Madison was right-hander Bob Campos, who played a pivotal role in the win. Vince Johnson closed the door for Madison, picking up his 1st save of the year. Losses have been few and far between for the Storm Troopers so far this season. Their record drops to 7-1.

Madison used the timely hitting of Toshimi Tanaka to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Beehive on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

Tanaka told a Madison Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
