The Frisco Rams downed the Riverside Red Bulls, 7-5, at Red Bull Stadium. The Rams were led by Joe Sheridan, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Callum Butler closed the door for Frisco, picking up his 3rd save of the year. With the loss, Riverside sinks to 5-4.
With no one out in the top of the second, Neal Thacker stroked a go-ahead 2-run single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put Frisco in front, 2-0.
Thacker told a Frisco Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
