Bloom Helps Frisco Cruise to 11-3 Win
Frisco catcher John Bloom was instrumental in his team's 11-3 win over the Riverside Red Bulls. Bloom went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rams. Frisco reliever Ray Murray picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Lucas van Alpen absorbed the loss. Frisco, now 3-5, is off to a slow start.

The Rams got a big at-bat from left fielder Jerry Schnoor. For the game, Schnoor went 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 8th hit of the season gave Frisco a 1-0 lead.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Bloom.
