Storm Troopers Bang Out 9-6 Win Versus Topeka
San Antonio and Topeka duked it out at The Field at Richmond and the Storm Troopers came out victorious.

Topeka third baseman Kevin McVey had a good game, even if his team did not. The Predators dropped a 9-6 decision to San Antonio at The Field at Richmond. McVey was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. San Antonio reliever Felipe Pérez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Miguel Hinojosa was saddled with the loss. Yoshikazu Ichihara earned the save for San Antonio, his 1st of the year.

The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Orrin Martell. For the game, Martell was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave San Antonio a 4-1 lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Martell told the San Antonio News.

San Antonio, at 3-0, has sizzled in the early going.
