Beetlecats Rally For Late Win Over Osos
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats faced a tough opponent in Ruidoso pitcher Kuniyoshi Nishiyama, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Bloomfield Road by a final score of 5-3. Nishiyama went 5.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Robert Escobedo recorded his 1st save for Buzzard's Bay. The loss drops Ruidoso to 1-1.

Kanzaburo Takahashi drew 1 walk for Buzzard's Bay. The 26-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Bob Sulewski. It was his 1st walk of the season.
