Paczkis Fall Short at Indian Wells
|
The Indian Wells Aeropostales managed to get by the Canton Paczkis, 5-4, at Stars Field. Indian Wells pitcher Héctor Bello took player of the game honors. Indian Wells reliever You-liang Rang got the win, raising his record to 10-7. John Cosman was tagged with the loss. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 83-78 with this latest triumph.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Indian Wells right fielder Ben Jack, facing John Cosman, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Aeropostales the 5-4 win.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Jack said.
