Bomberos Fall Short at Reno
The Rockets grabbed a win, 3-2, at Red Rocket Field, overcoming a fine effort from Espanola pitcher Mitsuzuka Nakano. Nakano went 8 innings and allowed no earned runs. Reno is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Enrique Gomez was the walk-off hero for Reno. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rockets designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Gomez said.
