The Freeze grabbed a win, 8-7, at The Ice Box, overcoming a fine effort from Reno pitcher Eduardo Marino. Marino went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The first-place Freeze, at 95-65, now lead their division by 5 games.

Tommy Moore hit a run-scoring double off Yuki Kokawa in the bottom of the tenth, which put the Freeze in front, 8-7. In addition to the double, Moore had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 5.
