The Omaha Raptors beat the Pasadena Bumblebees, 8-7, at The Hole. Omaha third baseman Stanley Harvey earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Omaha reliever Luis Antonio Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Nelson Martinez shouldered the loss. Jason Engel got the save, his 12th in 16 chances.

The Raptors got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Marcos Ortíz. For the game, Ortíz went 1-2. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 59th hit of the season gave Omaha a 4-3 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Ortíz.

With the win, the Raptors improved to 59-101.
