The Fort Worth Cats got a stellar performance from pitcher Don Myers, who handcuffed the Coronado offense en route to a 10-2 win at Phantoms Field. Fort Worth reliever Don Myers got the win, raising his record to 14-2. Jose Rodriguez was tagged with the loss. The Cats bumped their record to 89-71 with this latest triumph.

Jamie Milligan helped out the Fort Worth cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We let our audience down today," said Coronado skipper Nick O'Keefe.
