Pasadena first baseman Dale Beeler made his presence felt in the 8-6 Bumblebees triumph over the Reno Raiders. Beeler went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Kohei Hayashi got the win, improving to 4-6. He worked 7.2 innings, giving up 6 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Beeler had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Yuki Kokawa, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Bumblebees a 6-3 lead. It was the 33rd home run of the year for Beeler.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Beeler.
