Fort Worth Cats starter He-ping Wang pitched a strong game against the Indian Wells Aeropostales at LaGrave Field, leading the Cats to a 4-3 win. Fort Worth reliever José Trevino picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Bappaka Ramanakoppa shouldered the loss. The Cats bumped their record to 88-71 with this latest triumph.

Taylor Waters drove in one run for Fort Worth. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Toshikasu Yoshida. It was his 42nd RBI of the season.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Wang.
