The Reno Raiders did just enough to sneak past the Pasadena Bumblebees, 2-1, at House of Pain. Reno pitcher Jorge Mota earned player of the game honors. José López got the save, his 6th in 10 chances. Pasadena has now lost 4 straight.

The Raiders got a big at-bat from right fielder Ken Donovan. For the game, Donovan went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 24th home run of the season gave Reno a 2-1 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Donovan.
