The exploits of third baseman Manuel Guzmán, who is tied for 10th in the NAL in triples with 5, helped the Bowling Green Racers defeat the Chicago Titans, 8-1. Guzmán was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Bowling Green improves to 87-70 with the win. They lead their division by 4˝ games.

Guzmán had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 fastball from Devon Labonte, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Racers a 4-1 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Guzmán.

"It feels good to get this one," Guzmán told the Bowling Green Daily.
