Baristas second baseman Hilario Martínez put his stamp on his team's 5-4 win over the Reno Rockets. Martínez went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for Silver Lake in the contest. With the win, the Baristas improved to 74-82.
Joe Thorington aided the Silver Lake cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 4.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Martínez told reporters after the game.
