Canadians Lose, 4-1, at LaGrave Field
Vancouver got a terrific performance from pitcher Domingo Trinidad, but it wasn't enough to beat the Fort Worth Cats. Fort Worth won the LaGrave Field contest, 4-1. Trinidad was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. The Cats bumped their record to 85-68 with this latest triumph.

Kunihiro Shibata drove in one run for Fort Worth. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Domingo Trinidad. It was his 17th RBI of the season.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Shibata told the Fort Worth Today.
