Phantoms Walk Off with Win

Phantoms Field was sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.
The Coronado Phantoms defeated the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 5-4, at Phantoms Field today. Leading the charge for Coronado was left fielder Jason Trude. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Phantoms bumped their record to 77-74 with this latest triumph.
The Phantoms got a big at-bat from catcher Eduardo Rosário. For the game, Rosário was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 8th hit of the season gave Coronado a 5-4 lead.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Nick O'Keefe.
