The Vancouver Canadians did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Indian Wells Aeropostales at Stanley Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Wilson Polk, who captured player of the game honors. The Canadians raised their record to 71-78.

Carlos Vásquez helped out the Vancouver cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher was 1-3 with a walk.

Polk attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
