Fairfield Flash starter Leland Bullins was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Reno Rockets, 4-2. Fairfield reliever Bernard Coste picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Harsha Majoo absorbed the loss. Paul Calamy notched his 14th save in 19 chances.

The Flash got a big at-bat from first baseman John Pinnock. For the game, Pinnock was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 176th hit of the season gave Fairfield a 4-2 lead.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Pinnock.
