The Bronx Bombers defeated the Reno Raiders, 7-2, at Bronx Ballpark. Bronx left fielder Masato Takagi was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The Bombers move to 57-90 with the win, while the Raiders drop to 61-84.

Larry Zimmerman aided the Bronx cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder went 1-2 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Zimmerman told the Bronx Herald.
