Black Knights Rally For Late Win Over Colonials
|
Skellington Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the New England Colonials and Brooklyn Black Knights.
Brooklyn Black Knights starter Elijah Green was in fine form against the New England Colonials at Skellington Stadium, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Green went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 9. His record improves to 4-2. Ji-hwan Yea recorded his 11th save for Brooklyn.
Masayoshi Sai, the 20 overall pick in the 2024 draft, aided the Brooklyn cause with a 2-run double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said New England skipper Todd Belcher.
The Colonials fall to 12-19 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
