Multi-HR Day for Donovan as Raiders Overpower Bombers, 8-4
|
Reno and Bronx put this game in the books despite some rain.
Reno right fielder Ken Donovan had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Bronx Bombers, 8-4. Eduardo Marino was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. Yuki Kokawa earned his 1st save in 1 chances.
Gene Reilley, who was drafted in the two round of the 2032 draft, aided the Reno cause with a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Donovan told the Reno News.
The Raiders improved to 61-83.
